High Noon won’t happen this September

By highstreetnorthcote on 07.08.12

HIGH NOON won't happen this September. We'd like to do better.

Our commitment is to design an event that is inclusive for all our traders, so each one can showcase their best.

Our commitment is to design an event that provides enough time and enough space for people to enjoy more of our High Street Northcote experience.

Our commitment is to design an event our volunteer team can deliver every year and still run their businesses.

So that's our plan. We're taking the best bits of High Noon and spreading them out across the year.  We know it’s soon but it reflects our responsibility as the NBA executive to strengthen and protect our strategy, relationships and sustainability of our human resources and financial capacity.

Go Halogen Free – Residential Program

By highstreetnorthcote on 10.04.12

Did you know that replacing halogen downlights with LED light reduces your energy use and costs by 80%, plus the LEDs last 10-15 times longer than halogens, which reduces costs and waste sent to landfill! It’s a win-win situation.
Now Darebin households can switch high energy halogens to low energy LED replacements.
Philips Master LED lights which can easily replace old halogens, are available from all City of Darebin Customer Service Centres, for the subsidised price of $43 each from the end of March to mid-May (limit 10 per household).
