A little about Dr. Luke Griffin

Luke completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) and Master of Clinical Chiropractic at RMIT University.

He is originally from country Victoria and has gained experience working in rural South Australia before returning to Melbourne to practice.

As an associate Chiropractor, Luke has developed a keen interest in a functional neurology based form of Chiropractic care. This type of treatment aims to encourage better nervous system function and central integration (i.e. brain function), by optimizing posture and spinal health. When necessary, this treatment also addresses other key systems that feed the brain with information such as proprioceptive, ocular and vestibular mechanisms. The ultimate goal of treatment is for the patient to attain better general health and wellbeing, using a functional neurology based model.

Luke uses many different techniques during treatment including manual adjustments, activator, pelvic blocks, and other forms of stretching & neurological exercises. These techniques are applied in necessary amounts to meet the needs and preferences of each individual patient. In most cases the patient will also be given exercises to be completed in their own time.

Luke also has a keen interest in nutrition and helping patients with dietary advice, as well as keeping fit and healthy by way of regular physical activity.

Luke is available by appointment on Monday (2-6pm) and Thursday (8am-12pm). Please call the shop on (03) 9481 1166 or AH Mo. 0405 870 872 to make an appointment..
